R0885-1 - CASP7 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 34 kDa Uniprot ID: P55210
Background: Caspase-7 (CASP7) belongs to the peptidase C14A family. CASP7 is involved in the activation cascade of caspases responsible for apoptosis execution. CASP7 cleaves and activates sterol regulatory element binding proteins (SREBPs). CASP7 proteolytically cleaves poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) at a '216-Asp-|-Gly-217' bond. Overexpression of CASP7 promotes programmed cell death. Other Names: Caspase-7, CASP-7, Apoptotic protease Mch-3, CMH-1, ICE-like apoptotic protease 3, ICE-LAP3, MCH3 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human CASP7. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from (A) mouse brain, (B) human HeLa, using anti-CASP7 (N) (R0885-1) at RT for 2 h.
