Background:

Caspase 10 (CASP10) belongs to the peptidase C14A family, which is involved in the activation cascade of caspases responsible for apoptosis execution. CASP10 is recruited to both Fas- and TNFR-1 receptors in a FADD dependent manner, and may participate in the granzyme B apoptotic pathways. CASP10 cleaves and activates caspase-3, -4, -6, -7, -8, and -9, and hydrolyzes the small- molecule substrates, Tyr-Val-Ala-Asp-|-AMC and Asp-Glu-Val-Asp-|-AMC. Defects in CASP10 have been implicated in autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome type 2A (ALPS2A), familial non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and gastric cancer (GASC).

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of human CASP10. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
