Background:

Sister chromatid cohesion protein PDS5 homolog A (PDS5A) belongs to the PDS5 family and is a probable regulator of sister chromatid cohesion in mitosis which may stabilize cohesin complex association with chromatin. PDS5A may couple sister chromatid cohesion during mitosis to DNA replication. Cohesion ensures that chromosome partitioning is accurate in both meiotic and mitotic cells and plays an important role in DNA repair.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with GST-fusion proteins containing 2 distinct C-terminal regions of either human [PDS5A (C1) (R2064-1)] or mouse [PDS5A (C3) (R2064-3)] PDS5A. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
