Background:

Homeobox protein DLX-5 (DLX5) belongs to the distal-less homeobox family and is a transcriptional factor involved in bone development. DLX5 acts as an immediate early BMP-responsive transcriptional activator essential for osteoblast differentiation. Additionally, DLX5 stimulates ALPL promoter activity in a RUNX2-independent manner during osteoblast differentiation.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human DLX5. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
