R2867-1 - CD63 (M) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 26 I 40 kDa Uniprot ID: P08962 Background: CD63 antigen (CD63) is a multi-pass membrane protei belonging to the tetraspanin (TM4SF) family. CD63 functions as cell surface receptor for TIMP1 and plays a role in the activation of cellular signaling cascades. CD63 also plays a role in the activation of ITGB1 and integrin signaling, leading to the activation of AKT, FAK/PTK2 and MAP kinases. CD63 promotes cell survival, reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton, cell adhesion, spreading and migration, via its role in the activation of AKT and FAK/PTK2. Other Names: CD63 antigen, Granulophysin, Lysosomal-associated membrane protein 3, LAMP-3, Melanoma-associated antigen ME491, OMA81H, Ocular melanoma-associated antigen, Tetraspanin-30, Tspan-30, CD63, MLA1, TSPAN30 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of human CD63. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts fromA) mouse brain, B) mouse thymus, C) human HeLa, D) human Jurkat; using anti-CD63 (M) (R2867-1) at RT for 2 h. |
