R1112-2 - ABCB1 (M) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 141 | 180 kDa Uniprot ID: P08183 Background: Multidrug resistance protein 1 (ABCB1) is a multi-pass membrane protein belonging to the ABC transporter superfamily, the ABCB family, and the Multidrug resistance exporter (TC 3.A.1.201) subfamily. ABCB1 is an energy-dependent efflux pump responsible for decreased drug accumulation in multidrug-resistant cells. Genetic variation in ABCB1 may play a role in patients who do not respond to drug treatment. Genetic variations in ABCB1 are associated with susceptibility to inflammatory bowel disease type 13 (IBD13). Other Names: Multidrug resistance protein 1, CD243, ATP-binding cassette sub-family B member 1, P-glycoprotein 1, MDR1, PGY1 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of human ABCB1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extractsfrom A) human HeLa; B) human Jurkat; using anti-ABCB1 (M) (R1112-2) at RT for 2 h. |
