R2602-1 - SIRT6 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB
Predicted | Observed M.W.: 39 I 46 kDa Uniprot ID: Q8N6T7 Background: NAD-dependent protein deacetylase sirtuin-6 (SIRT6) belongs to the sirtuin family and the class IV subfamily. SIRT6 is a NAD-dependent protein deacetylase and has deacetylase activity towards histone H3K9Ac and H3K56Ac. SIRT6 modulates acetylation of histone H3 in telomeric chromatin during the S-phase of the cell cycle. SIRT6 deacetylates histone H3K9Ac at NF-kappa-B target promoters and may down-regulate the expression of a subset of NF-kappa-B target genes. Other Names: NAD-dependent protein deacetylase sirtuin-6, SIR2L6, Regulatory protein SIR2 homolog 6, SIR2-like protein 6 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human SIRT6. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from(A) mouse brain, (B) mouse thymus; usinganti-SIRT6 (N) (R2602-1) at RT for 2 h. |
