Background:

Homeobox protein ARX belongs to the paired homeobox family and the bicoid subfamily. ARX is a transcription factor required for normal brain development, and it may be important for maintenance of specific neuronal subtypes in the cerebral cortex and axonal guidance in the floor plate.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N region of human ARX. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
