R1616-1 - OGG1 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 39 | 46 kDa Uniprot ID: O15527 Background: N-glycosylase/DNA lyase (OGG1) belongs to the type-1 OGG1 family and is a DNA repair enzyme that incises DNA at 8-oxoG residues. OGG1 excises 7,8-dihydro-8-oxoguanine and 2,6-diamino-4-hydroxy-5-N-methylformamidopyrimidine (FAPY) from damaged DNA. OGG1 has a beta-lyase activity that nicks DNA 3' to the lesion. Other Names: N-glycosylase/DNA lyase, MMH, MUTM, OGH1 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human OGG1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extractsfrom human HepG2, using Ab (R1616-1) at RT for 2 h. |
