R1467-1 - RAF1 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 73 | 75 kDa Uniprot ID: P04049 Background: RAF proto-oncogene serine/threonine-protein kinase (RAF1) belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. It acts as a regulatory link between the membrane-associated Ras GTPases and the MAPK/ERK cascade, and this critical regulatory link functions as a switch determining cell fate decisions including proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, survival and oncogenic transformation. RAF1 can promote NF-kB activation and inhibit signal transducers involved in motility (ROCK2), apoptosis (MAP3K5/ASK1 and STK3/MST2), proliferation and angiogenesis (RB1). It regulates Rho signaling and migration, and is required for normal wound healing. Defects in RAF1 are the cause of Noonan syndrome type 5 (NS5) and LEOPARD syndrome type 2 (LEOPARD2). Other Names: RAF proto-oncogene serine/threonine-protein kinase, c-Raf, cRaf, RAF, CRAF, Raf-1, Proto-oncogene c-RAF Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with GST-fusion proteins containing the N-terminal region of human RAF1, and provided as whole antiserum. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied as whole rabbit serum containing 30% Glycerol and 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20oC. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from (A) mouse brain, (B) human 293T, using Ab (R1467-1) at RT for 2 h. |
