Background:

Human FAM84A, based on its amino acid sequence identity with human collagen, type X and α1, is a novel collagen-type protein. It has been shown that FAM84A is over-expressed in various colon cancer cell lines and also in many human colon tumor tissues. In addition, over-expression of ectopic FAM84A altered cell morphology and increased cell migration, thus suggesting that FAM84A may be a pro-tumor factor in colon cancers.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human FAM84A. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
