R2950-1 - VPS4A (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 49 kDa Uniprot ID: Q9UN37 Background: Vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 4A (VPS4A) is a peripheral membrane protein belonging to the AAA ATPase family. VPS4A is involved in late steps of the endosomal multivesicular bodies (MVB) pathway. VPS4A recognizes membrane-associated ESCRT-III assemblies and catalyzes their disassembly, possibly in combination with membrane fission. Furthermore, VPS4A redistributes the ESCRT-III components to the cytoplasm for further rounds of MVB sorting. Other Names: Vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 4A, Protein SKD2, VPS4-1, Hvps4, VPS4 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human VPS4A. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from A) mouse thymus, B) human HeLa; using anti-VPS4A (N) (R2950-1) at RT for 2 h. |
