R3034-1 - SCD (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 42 kDa Uniprot ID: O00767 Background: Stearoyl-CoA desaturase (SCD) is an enzyme involved in fatty acid biosynthesis, primarily the synthesis of oleic acid. SCD is a multi-pass membrane protein located at the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. SCD is the terminal component of the liver microsomal stearyl-CoA desaturase system that utilizes O2 and electrons from reduced cytochrome b5 to catalyze the insertion of a double bond into a spectrum of fatty acyl-CoA substrates including palmitoyl-CoA and stearoyl-CoA. Other Names: FADS5, SCDOS, Acyl-CoA desaturase, Delta(9)-desaturase,Fatty acid desaturase, Stearoyl-CoA desaturase Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human SCD. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: from A) human HeLa, B) human Jurkat; using anti-SCD1 (N) (R3034-1) at RT for 2 h. |
