Background:

Death-associated protein kinase 1 (DAPK1) belongs to the protein kinase superfamily, the CAMK Ser/Thr protein kinase family, and the DAP kinase subfamily. DAPK1 is a calcium/calmodulin-dependent serine/threonine kinase involved in multiple cellular signaling pathways that trigger cell survival, apoptosis, and autophagy. DAPK1 regulates both type I apoptotic and type II autophagic cell deaths signal, depending on the cellular setting.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human DAPK1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
