R3061-1 - SAV1 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 45 kDa Uniprot ID: Q9H4B6 Background: Protein salvador homolog 1 (SAV1) is a regulator of STK3/MST2 and STK4/MST1 in the Hippo signaling pathway, which plays a pivotal role in organ size control and tumor suppression by restricting proliferation and promoting apoptosis. The core of this pathway is composed of a kinase cascade wherein STK3/MST2 and STK4/MST1, in complex with its regulatory protein SAV1, phosphorylates and activates LATS1/2 in complex with its regulatory protein MOB1, which in turn phosphorylates and inactivates YAP1 oncoprotein and WWTR1/TAZ. Phosphorylation of YAP1 by LATS1/2 inhibits its translocation into the nucleus to regulate cellular genes important for cell proliferation, cell death, and cell migration. SAV1 is required for STK3/MST2 and STK4/MST1 activation and promotes cell-cycle exit and terminal differentiation in developing epithelial tissues. In conjunction with STK3/MST2, SAV1 activates the transcriptional activity of ESR1 through the modulation of its phosphorylation. Other Names: Protein salvador homolog 1, 45 kDa WW domain protein, hWW45, WW45 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing N-terminal region of human SAV1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts fromA) mouse thymus, B) human HeLa; using anti-SAV1 (N) (R3061-1) at RT for 2 h. |
