R0009-1 - SATB1 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted M.W.: 86 kDa Uniprot ID: Q01826
Background: Special AT-rich sequence-binding protein 1 (SATB1) is a chromatin organizer and transcription factor that integrates chromatin architecture with gene regulation. SATB1 binds to nuclear matrix/scaffold-associating AT-rich DNA sequences (MARs/SARs). It has been shown that SATB1 interacts with promyelocytic leukemia protein (PML), and that SATB1 and PML function as a regulatory complex that controls transcription by restructuring the dynamic chromatin-loop architecture. SATB1 is implicated as a key regulator of the differentiation and activation of T cells. In cancer, SATB1 has been shown to reprogram chromatin organization and the transcription profiles of breast tumors to promote growth and metastasis. Other Names: OTTHUMP00000207689, Special AT-rich sequence-binding protein 1 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human SATB1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
