R0161-1 - HDAC3 (C1) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 49 kDa Uniprot ID: O15379 Background: Histones play a critical role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression, and developmental events. Histone acetylation/deacetylation alters chromosome structure and affects transcription factor access to DNA. HDAC3 belongs to the histone deacetylase/acuc/apha family. It has histone deacetylase activity and represses transcription when tethered to a promoter. It may participate in the regulation of transcription through its binding with the zinc-finger transcription factor YY1. HDAC3 can also down-regulate p53 function and thus modulate cell growth and apoptosis. HDAC3 is regarded as a potential tumor suppressor gene [provided by RefSeq]. Other Names: Histone deacetylase 3, HD3, RPD3-2, SMAP45, HD3, RPD3, RPD3-2 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human HDAC3. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: A) mouse thymus, B) human HeLa, C) human Jurkat; using anti-HDAC3 (C1) (R0161-1) at RT for 2 h. |
