R1074-2 - A1CF (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 65 kDa Uniprot ID: Q9NQ94 Background: A1CF is essential component of the apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme complex which is responsible for the postranscriptional editing of a CAA codon for Gln to a UAA codon for stop in APOB mRNA. A1CF binds to APOB mRNA and is probably responsible for docking the catalytic subunit, APOBEC1, to the mRNA to allow it to deaminate its target cytosine. The complex also protects the edited APOB mRNA from nonsense-mediated decay. Other Names: APOBEC1 complementation factor, APOBEC1-stimulating protein, ACF, ASP, ACF64, ACF65, APOBEC1CF Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing C-terminal region of human A1CF. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts fromA) mouse thymus, B) human Jurkat; using anti-A1CF (C) (R1074-2) at RT for 2 h. |
