Background:

Sal-like protein 1 (SALL1) is a zinc finger transcriptional repressor and may be part of the NuRD histone deacetylase complex (HDAC). SALL1 is a transcriptional repressor involved in organogenesis. Defects in the SALL1 gene are a cause of Townes-Brocks syndrome (TBS) as well as bronchio-oto-renal syndrome (BOR). Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for SALL1 [provided by RefSeq].

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human SALL1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
