R0175-2 - KAISO (N2) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB
Predicted I observed M.W.: 74 I 110 kDa Uniprot ID: Q8BN78 Background: KAISO is also known as Zinc finger and BTB domain-containing protein 33, a transcriptional regulator with bimodal DNA-binding specificity. KAISO binds to methylated CpG dinucleotides in the consensus sequence 5'-CGCG-3' and also binds to the non-methylated consensus sequence 5'-CTGCNA-3'. KAISO can recruits the N-CoR repressor complex to promote histone deacetylation and the formation of repressive chromatin structures in target gene promoters. In contrast, KAISO may also activate transcription of a subset of target genes by the recruitment of CTNND2. Other Names: ZBTB33, ZNF348, Zinc finger and BTB domain-containing protein 33 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of mouse KAISO. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from (A, D) mousethymus, (B) human HeLa, (C, E) human Jurkat; using 2independent Abs against 2 distinct regions of mouse KAISOat RT for 2 h. |
