Putative uncharacterized protein F13K9.16 is also known as Pre-mRNA-splicing factor 3 (PRPF3), which is a U4/U6 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein. The removal of introns from nuclear pre-mRNAs occurs on complexes called spliceosomes, which are consist of 4 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein (snRNP) particles and an undefined number of transiently associated splicing factors. F13K9.16 is one of several proteins that associate with U4 and U6 snRNPs [supplied by OMIM].

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of arabidopsis thaliana F13K9.16 (At1g28060). Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
